This Video from 1967 Accurately Predicted the Web?
Posted by Mustafa
I won’t go as far as saying this was a real “prediction”, but this video by the Philco-Ford corporation was astonishingly accurate about the future of the internet and ecommerce.
Keep in mind that the video was produced in 1967, and it fore casted the way consumers would shop in the year 1999.

That is amazing… It’s a lot more accurate than the Back to the Future movies. LOL.

That’s awesome. I like how they don’t need keyboards. They’ve got the knobs and such. Takes care of it all.
Not to mention the triple flat screens. NICE!

I just laughed at the guy holding his head thinking,
“Damn it! She spent 30% more than I earnt!”
You can’t exactly break her legs either, she would spend all day on it.

Dude this is a good prediction but it’s not the earliest accurate prediction of the internet. I learned in my Science Fiction class that a science fiction writer ( I can’t remember who exactly) said something about in the future, the world would be connected through some International communications system and people will be more connected. And he said the main use of this system will be to view and share pornography. How accurate is that?
